POSITION TITLE: CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
POSITION DUTIES:
- Direct company’s daily technical operations, focusing on large scale Server Applications and development of company’s intellectual property in software, patents.
- Analyze workflow, establish priorities, develop standards, and set deadlines.
- Evaluate company’s technology needs and propose solutions to meet those needs.
- Plan and direct the installation and maintenance of computer hardware and software, management of company’s technical infrastructure, software development, and deployment of software upgrades.
- Evaluate data processing proposals to assess project feasibility and requirements.
- Assess the costs and benefits of new projects and justify their funding to top executives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development of technology products and oversee the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch.
- Provide guidance to Marketing and Sales teams on better representation of company’s products and data.
- Assign, review, and oversee the work of IT professionals, including system analysts, programmers, software developers, and dev-operations/system administrators.
- Review project progress reports.
- Consult with users, management, vendors, and IT personnel to assess computing needs and system requirements.
- Provide users and development teams with technical support for computer problems.
- Develop computer information resources, providing for data security and control, strategic computing, and disaster recovery.
- Track, analyze, and monitor technology performance metrics.
- Prepare and review operational reports and memos on technical timelines.
- Stay abreast of advances in technology to support growing need of clients and company’s infrastructure and product efficiency.
RATE OF PAY: $190,000 – $225,000 per year
TERM: Full Time
